Privacy Policy

Data we collect

When you place an order, we collect your name, email address, and birth data (date, approximate time, and place). If you order a Compatibility reading we collect the same data for the second person, which you represent you have permission to share. Stripe processes your payment details directly; we do not store your full card number.

How we use it

Birth data is used only to compute your chart and produce your reading. Your email is used only to deliver the PDF, handle customer support, and send a one-time follow-up a week later asking how the reading went (you can opt out at any time).

Retention

Your delivered PDF is stored in secure cloud storage (Cloudflare R2) for 30 days after delivery, in case you lose the email, then automatically deleted. Your order record — name, email, birth data — is retained for accounting and legal purposes for up to seven years.

Sharing

We do not sell or rent your data. Limited data is shared with the service providers we use to run the business: Stripe (payments), Cloudflare (PDF storage and CDN), Resend (transactional email), and the hosting provider. Each is bound by their own privacy policy and processes data only to deliver the service to you.

Your rights

You can request a copy of the data we hold about you, or ask us to delete it, by emailing readings@cosmicnexus.ai. We honour GDPR and CCPA deletion requests within 30 days, subject to our legal recordkeeping obligations.
